Born and raised in Loveland, Colorado, Lauren Ostermiller spent her summers riding horses and working cattle on her uncle’s ranch in western Wyoming where her lifelong love for horses was born. Growing up in her father’s sculpture studio, Ostermiller was always surrounded by art. A degree in theatre from Augustana University, specializing in props led Ostermiller to a career in prop making, practical effects, and scenic art for film, tv, concert tours, and theme parks. After over 15 years in the entertainment industry, Ostermiller returned to her roots with a renewed passion for telling the stories of the American West through sculpture.
